We are looking for a self-starting Sales Consultant to drive retail and trade sales volumes across the West Rand and wider Gauteng areas. If you are motivated by an uncapped commission structure where your income reflects your effort, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Drive Volume & Growth: Implement the company sales strategy to expand our customer base, hunt for new leads, and consistently hit ambitious monthly targets.
- Build Channel Relationships: Conduct face-to-face interactions with retail customers and trade professionals (architects, designers, and contractors) to keep our physical security and decor solutions top-of-mind.
- Market Insight: Conduct competitor analysis to track market trends, pricing, and new industry entries.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize our sales management system to issue timeous quotes, report on lead status, and track won/lost business.
- Brand Ambassador: Manage showroom displays, attend home shows, trade exhibitions, and promotional events to actively solicit presentation opportunities.
What You Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Experience: At least 3 years of successful track record as an external sales representative/consultant. Experience in physical barrier security, construction, or allied building industries is highly advantageous.
- Network: Previous experience working alongside architects, interior designers, and building contractors is a major plus.
- Qualifications: Diploma/Certificate in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant business discipline.
- Tools for the Job: Must possess a valid Code 8 driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle (willingness to travel throughout GP is essential).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office; prior experience with Syspro or dedicated CRM/Sales tracking tools is advantageous.
