Skills Required:

This well-established South African company with its head office in Randburg, is a specialist in providing financing for small and medium sized businesses. They are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team. As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies and plans.

The role will include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to improve the acquisition of qualified customers that meet our criteria.
  • Utilize the CRM database to convert previous customer inquiries into qualified prospects through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio team to align marketing strategies with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Drive go-to market efforts of tailored products
  • Manage online marketing initiatives, including website content, SEO, SEM, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee social media marketing efforts to engage with our target audience and drive brand awareness.
  • Utilize Google Ads and other online advertising platforms to reach potential customers effectively.
  • Cultivate relationships with referral partners to generate qualified leads and increase customer acquisition.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Events creation, coordination and attendance of programmes, as well as 3rd party hosted gatherings
  • Internal communications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE), or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing.
  • Ability to research and understand context – to inform strategy
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Content Writing skills
  • Google Analytics
  • CRM software systems
  • WordPress Themes experience
  • Proficiency [or ability & willingness to learn] with various marketing platforms & marketing software tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
